suitable for floors and walls
Applications
A major advantage of Farmcoat is that the product is multi-purpose. Besides substrates subject to high chemical and mechanical stress such as feed passages, milking pits and stables, the coating system is also suitable for nurseries/greenhouses, workshops, technical areas and walls. Read the benefits of each application below:

Feed passages
Farmcoat was developed out of the need for a good feed passage coating. Due to frequent feeding, feed passages are subject to high mechanical and chemical stress. After some time, the (often concrete) surface starts to wear out. The substrate becomes rough, making it difficult to slide the feed on and leaving behind a hard layer of food and saliva. This is a perfect breeding ground for bacteria. Farmcoat provides a smooth finish that is unaffected by acids from saliva and food due to its high chemical resistance.

Equestrian stables
Farmcoat is highly suitable for equestrian stables. Stable walls are frequently coated with Farmcoat. The hygienic and strong surface ensures beautiful results and is very easy to clean. What’s more, the wall coating is easy to apply yourself.
Floors in equestrian stables are coated with our epoxy floor coating. After application, the coating is sprinkled with a fine anti-slip grit to create a safe surface for horses to walk on.

Stable floors
Farmcoat is suitable for pigsties, cattle sheds, poultry houses and more. Barns are heavily stressed by the frequent movement of livestock. In addition, they are subject to chemical stress due to the large amounts of faeces and urine. The often concrete substrates are porous, making them a breeding ground for germs and bacteria. Excrement and dirt stick to it. By applying Farmcoat, faeces and urine can be removed or cleaned away faster, even reducing ammonia emissions. Surfaces frequently walked on by heavier cattle can additionally be gritted with a coarse anti-slip grit.

Milking pits
Milking pits are often humid environments and subject to large amounts of acid. Farmcoat’s high chemical resistance can withstand this and, by adding extra grit, ensures a safe walking surface. Finally, after applying Farmcoat, the walls and floors are very easy to clean.

Nurseries and greenhouses
Nurseries and greenhouses have surfaces that accumulate a lot of dirt and that people walk on. The floors should be easy to clean with a garden hose or under high pressure, leaving no glass surface behind for the staff. Farmcoat offers a strong anti-slip floor with a smooth finish that is easy to clean.

Garage floors
Do you have a space frequently travelled over by vehicles such as tractors? Then there is a chance that the plasticisers from the vehicle’s tyres could significantly affect the surface. Applying Farmcoat protects the substrate from these mechanical and chemical stresses. It also gives the garage floor a sleek and hygienic appearance.

Workshops and technical areas
Workspaces are often subject to activities where oils and other liquids can drop to the floor. In addition, heavy equipment is sometimes dropped, which can damage the floor. For a sleek and tidier workspace that is mechanically resilient and resistant to all common oils and substances, Farmcoat is great for both floors and walls.
