Farmcoat was recently applied to a new feed alley in Vriezeveen. After a site visit by our technical advisor, we were able to provide appropriate advice suitable for this substrate. Since the feed alley had not yet been worn in, we were able to recommend a thin, chemically resistant, and mechanically durable layer. Because the substrate consisted of troweled concrete, we advised sanding the concrete first. The primer and gray coating were then applied in a single day. The farmer was able to easily handle the application himself. To maintain a clean finish, the feed alley was first neatly marked out with tape.
