What does a feeding alley coating cost per square metre?
How much does a feeding alley coating cost?
The cost of applying a feeding alley coating varies greatly. This wide price range is simply due to the difference in supplier and DIY systems. With service providers, you pay for labour as well as materials. As a result, prices per square metre can be high.
In addition, it depends whether you are dealing with a single-layer, two-layer or three-layer system. Farmcoat’s products are offered in a one-layer system that can be applied in one day by the farmer himself. Because the coating can be applied in very thick layers (up to one centimetre), the coating works as a primer and coating layer in one.
Finally, it matters how worn concrete feeding alley is. For new alleys, the worn concrete does not need to be levelled. As a result, consumption is much lower and so are the costs per square metre.
For deeply worn substrates, we still recommend sanding the substrate with a concrete grinder. If the worn surface is sanded first, it will significantly reduce the amount of coating required.
Farmcoat Levelling Coating can be applied from as little as €15 per m². This price applies to new substrates. Is the surface worn? In this case, the price can run to €25 per m².
